Where was Benjamin?

With everyone playing guessing games (at least as the BBC wishes to report the story) over the nature of Benjamin Netanyahu's disappearance this past Monday, it occurred to me that there was at least one way to put a decidedly American spin on the state of play. Could he have been hiking the Appalachian Trail? Hey, if it can work for the Governor of South Carolina, why shouldn't it work for the Prime Minister of Israel? Those of us with fond memories of Harry Golden might even see Netanyahu as the latest generation of a "Carolina Israelite" (even if Golden himself published his newspaper in North Carolina)!
